A Production House Built on Inside Jokes
Chigma Productions is our very real fake production house where everyone ends up as a character.

The Beginning
What started as a WhatsApp group name (born from the internet’s obsession with “sigma” culture) slowly became something more.
“Chigma” was just our inside joke. A Malayalam twist on a trend that, at the time, meant nothing beyond the group.
Instead of letting it stay that way, we began treating it like a real production house. It started with spoof movie posters, candid photos of my friends turned into dramatic visuals. Each one had exaggerated titles, fictional credits, and references to moments only we understood.
Turning Life into Cinema
Soon, posters weren’t enough.
I began capturing candid videos and editing them into short trailers with title cards for Chigma Productions, treating each drop like an actual film release. One-minute cuts layered with music from OG Malayalam and Tamil films. Everyday Bangalore moments reframed as cinematic sequences, where small incidents felt like scenes from a larger story.
What made it more special was the audience. It was never meant for everyone.. just a close-knit group where every reference landed, and everyone saw themselves as part of the story.
Becoming a Brand
Over time, Chigma Productions evolved into a shared identity.
Now we have a private Instagram space to archive everything.. posters, trailers, sneak peeks, and memes. What started as scattered content slowly took shape as a consistent voice, a “production house” that existed because we chose to believe in it.
Somewhere along the way, the line blurred.
And without really planning it,
a production house that was never meant to exist became real.
